The New Testament Recovery Version
     Since the 1500s, beginning with Martin Luther's groundbreaking realization that justification is by faith, the Lord has continued to gradually recover more light and truth from His Word. This recovery in spiritual and scriptural understanding has ushered in a corresponding recovery in both the individual and the corporate aspects of the Christian life. The New Testament Recovery Version is so named because its text and footnotes crystallize many of these truths and experiences.

Watchman Nee & Witness Lee's Hymns
     Witness Lee's love for God, his revelation from God's word, and his experience of God's life are expressed in the hymns he wrote and translated with the help of other believers. The local churches have been greatly edified through the hymns written by both Witness Lee and his co-worker, Watchman Nee.

Watchman Nee
     Watchman Nee became a Christian in mainland China in 1920 at the age of seventeen and began writing in the same year. Throughout the nearly thirty years of his ministry, Watchman Nee was clearly manifested as a unique gift from the Lord to His Body for His move in this age. In 1952 he was imprisoned for his faith; he remained in prison until his death in 1972. His words remain an abundant source of spiritual revelation and supply to Christians throughout the world.

Witness Lee
     At age 19 he was fully captured for Christ and immediately consecrated himself to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ for the rest of his life.
